We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced hammerhand to join our team in the Wellington region. This is a full-time, permanent role offering an opportunity to contribute to diverse and challenging projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction and carpentry, demonstrating reliability, precision, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Supporting carpenters and construction teams with various tasks, including framing, formwork, and finishing. • Working across a range of residential and commercial construction projects. • Ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. • Strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site. • Effective collaboration with team members to meet deadlines.

• A minimum of three years of hands-on building experience. • Own vehicle and a full driver’s licence are required for site access. • Must have a full set of tools suitable for various project types. • Familiarity with New Zealand building standards and health and safety regulations is preferred. • Must have all site-safe gear and personal protective equipment (PPE). • Flexibility to work occasional weekends if project demands require. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment MOJ check and drug test
