Joinery Production Assistant

We’re seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to join our team and support the operations of our Joinery Factory. In this role, you’ll assist our skilled joiners in crafting custom kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture while helping keep the workshop running smoothly. Your daily tasks will involve a mix of the following responsibilities: • Production support may include preparing materials, operating machinery, coating, and finishing materials. • Assisting with quality control in identifying and reporting defects in materials and workmanship. • Ensuring the shop's safety by maintaining a clean and organised space, following all safety procedures, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Loading and unloading materials, preparing finished products for delivery, and assisting with stock control by keeping track of materials and supplies. A valid forklift licence would be a bonus.

Job Requirements
Our ideal candidate will posses the following:
• Restricted Drivers license • Similar experience in previous roles is highly preferred • Confidence to communicate with our team and mentors • Ability to execute tasks with thought and attention to detail • Determination to further their skill set and knowledge by being hands on and open minded • Hard working and preparedness for demanding physical labour • Ability to grasp instruction and show initiative • An awareness for health and safety practices within the building industry • Punctuality and a can-do attitude • Must hold at least a Restricted Driver License. A valid forklift licence would be a bonus • MOJ, Police, Drug and Alcohol Drug checks
