With the 2025 Kiwifruit season almost on us, opportunities are available to pick up some healthy income in our packhouse. Having upgraded a new system of automation, we are seeking applications from persons who have a great attitude and are reliable team players. We have a variety of positions available including but not limited to packing, sorting, stacking, strapping, tray preparation, grading, forklift operation, repacking, cleaning and general maintenance work. This work requires being on your feet for long periods therefore some level of fitness is required. As the fruit is packed for export purposes there are clear requirements to follow which will be outlined to you by the employer. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn – sneakers are suitable. An option for some to have their contracts extended for repack is expected to be available at the end of the season.
