Flooring Quantifier & Sales Associate

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at a busy flooring retail store in Morrinsville. The role combines both sales and quantification tasks, offering opportunities for training and development in a dynamic retail environment. As a Quantifier & Sales Associate, you will be responsible for serving customers, handling inquiries, and assisting with various store operations, including measuring and quantifying flooring jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries -Unload delivery trucks and organize stock -Measure and quantify flooring requirements for customer projects (training provided) -Liaise with installers to ensure accurate and timely installation of flooring products -Process orders for products and materials, ensuring customers receive the right items for their needs -Assist with inventory management and restocking products as needed -Help with the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring safe and timely transport -Other tasks as assigned, with opportunities for growth and learning in the flooring industry

-Experience or knowledge in the building industry -Previous sales or retail experience is preferable -Forklift licence not required but would be a bonus -Strong communication and customer service skills -Ability to work as part of a team and independently -Detail-oriented, with an eagerness to learn new skills -Physical ability to lift and handle products, as well as assist with deliveries -Full training will be provided for quantification and flooring product knowledge
