Flooring Quantifier & Sales Associate

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at a busy flooring retail store in Morrinsville. The role combines both sales and quantification tasks, offering opportunities for training and development in a dynamic retail environment. As a Quantifier & Sales Associate, you will be responsible for serving customers, handling inquiries, and assisting with various store operations, including measuring and quantifying flooring jobs. Role also includes sales, lifting and delivering of beds.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries -Unload delivery trucks and organize stock -Measure and quantify flooring requirements for customer projects (training provided) -Liaise with installers to ensure accurate and timely installation of flooring products -Process orders for products and materials, ensuring customers receive the right items for their needs -Assist with inventory management and restocking products as needed -Help with the delivery of goods to customers, ensuring safe and timely transport - Sale, lifting and delivering of beds -Other tasks as assigned, with opportunities for growth and learning in the flooring industry

- A minimum of 2 years' experience or knowledge in the building industry is required. - Previous sales or retail experience is preferred, but candidates must be presentable and possess strong customer service skills. - A forklift license is not required but would be considered a bonus. - Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills. - Physical ability to lift and handle products, as well as assist with deliveries. - Full training will be provided on quantification and flooring product knowledge.
