Assistant Manufacturing Specialist/ Yard Hand

This role will support the factory supervisor, staff and the yard staff to perform manufacturing duties and yard tasks to ensure the smooth running of the facility, maximise productivity and cover staff absence where required. This is a hands on working role that is required to work outdoors in all weather conditions at times. The person will be physically fit, energetic with a keen eye for detail and be willing to do any task thrown at them. The person will be a Health & Safety Champion to ensure compliance with H&S requirements and foster a safe work environment. The role supports Factory and Yard staff.

Class 1 Drivers Licence. Forklift Operators Certificate & F Endorsement. Mechanical aptitude and basic tool skills. Must be adaptable and able to work different hours as required Have great time management. A self starter who can organise their day to maximise productivity and create great customer outcomes. Professional attitude Friendly, approachable and someone people want to work with. Strong understanding of customer expectations. Accurate, able to work to deadlines and go the extra mile to ensure it is right. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver tasks successfully to agreed timeframes while dealing positively with unexpected assignments. Working effectively without supervision to manage and organise fluctuating workloads, sometimes in stressful situations. Only minor convictions considered must be able to pass drug test.
