About this job

Otautau based employer is looking a Agricultural Machinery Operator. Tasks include but not limited to: 1. Machinery Operation: Operate various types of ag machinery, including but not limited to tractors, harvesters, sprayers, seeders, and balers. Ensure machinery is used efficiently and in accordance with guidelines and policies. 2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs. Report any major issues and arrange for professional repairs. Keep records of all maintenance and repair activities. 3. Health and Safety: Adhere to all H&S regulations. Use PPE as required. Participate in training sessions. 4. Collaboration and Communication: Work with farm managers, agronomists, and other team members to coordinate tasks and achieve operational goals. Communicate effectively regarding the status of machinery, field conditions, and any issues . Provide feedback and suggestions. 5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of machinery usage, fuel consumption, and field activities. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for management review.

Job Requirements

Applicants must be physically fit. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug test. Applicants must provide a CV. Must have a valid driver’s license.

$25 - $35 depending on experience
