Tipsy Foodies Limited is looking for Duty Managers for its two restaurants Tipsy Foodies in Kaikoura and Mumbles Cafe in Hanmer Springs. As the Duty Manager you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a key role in supervising and coordinating the operational activities. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations ensuring that customers receive prompt service overseeing shifts ensuring smooth operations and supporting the team in delivering high quality service. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring effective communication between the kitchen and front of house teams to maintain seamless service and the consistent delivery of excellent food. Training Staff Handling complaints Know how to make good coffee Ordering and helping the store manager good customer service required LCQ certificate is an advantage and 1 year experience as duty manager at busy restaurant

Job Requirements

A clean police record and a valid full driving license. Positive attitude, building rapport with staff and customers, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Excellent communication skills and handling customers professionally. Great presentation personal hygiene and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays as per the store opening hours rostered over a 7 day period including public holidays.
