Trainee Dispensary Technician - Kerikeri

This full-time, permanent position is a career opportunity for the right candidate. While working full-time you will be sponsored through the Open Polytechnic Pharmacy Technician course (levels 3,4 and 5) which requires a 5-6 hour weekly (out-of-work) time commitment. For this you need to be self-motivated in your study; complete units by prescribed time frames; have a good ability to communicate and a methodical approach to your work. You would be working with a team that are practising at the top of their scope with the latest in computer technology and robotics.

Aptitude for maths important as used in day-to-day calculations and there is a maths component/paper imbedded in the course. Needs to be able to work under pressure but remain calm. Needs to be methodical in their work practises and work to pre-prescribed standard operating procedures. Must be able to pay attention to detail and have excellent communication skills. Needs to be committed to working full-time while studying and to consistently turn up for work. Must like being part of, and contributing, to a team. Must be able to transport themselves to and from work.
