About this job

An inner city Middle Eastern takeaway requires an experienced Hyderabadi cook. You will be required to do the following: Prepare Hyderabadi style Dum biryani which includes chicken, lamb, fish, prawns, egg and vegetable biryani. Prepare Mughlai, Indian Veg / Non-Veg curries, tandoori chicken, Seekh kebab and authentic Hyderabadi Haleem Prepare Tandoori Naan (Plain/Garlic/Butter), pan based chapati or paratha. Prepare authentic deserts such as Sher Khurma, Apricot pudding etc., Prepare food from scratch including restaurant's own masala, marinade, sauces, and batter from ingredients. Assisting the director in the day to day running for the kitchen & creating and developing the menus in contemporary manner. Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures. Assisting the director in menu planning, recommendation for the most cost-effective recipes. Preparing estimates for daily and weekly requirements in your section. Monitoring the quality of food taste and presentation of dishes.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Cookery or the ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 plus years of proven experience as Indian cook.
