Assistant Store Manager

Assist in Managing Store Operations- inventory management, staff schedules, customer satisfaction Ensure that inventory is adequately stocked, conduct stock takes, and coordinate replenishment of stock in collaboration Oversee cash handling, banking procedures and ensure all transactions are processed accurately Assist in ensuring the store complies with all local health and safety regulations Support with opening and closing procedures Ensure that the store consistently delivers exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns Assist with implementing in-store promotions Assist in creating work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours Support employer/manager in training new staff Help maintain accurate records of employee hours, product sales, and financial transactions Provide input and solutions for operational challenges, assist Responsible for shop presentations and displays Assist with the daily operational tasks
Job Requirements
Must have one year or more of NZ work experience in a similar or higher role and industry. Must be available to work in rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays. Willingness to work in early morning, afternoon, and late evening shifts. Passionate about the food industry to look after our takeaway side of the business Work independently in the absence employer/ manager Great work ethic and willingness to learn and grow Have great communication skills. Reliable and enthusiastic. Attention to detail An eye for detail.
