Retail Manager

A Wellington business is looking for a Retail Manager to join their team. The family business is, respectful and honest, passionate about seafood and providing the best experience to the customer. We want like-minded people that have a good work ethic and want to develop their skills in customer service, product development and bringing new ideas to the business.

Duties include:

Creating roster, ordering products, setting up fish display, making value-add products, opening / closing up store, directing staff to do daily duties, following cleaning schedule, updating cleaning schedule to improve hygiene of work place, customer service (serving customers, giving advice on seafood options, taking cooked food orders), cooking and serving fish and chips, implementing business tactics and strategies created by manager or owners, keeping a good positive attitude and treating others with respect while getting duties done.

• Previous retail management experience is essential for this position. • Preferably, the candidate will have experience with seafood, creating food menus, value added products. • Honest and hard working. • Takes initiative. • Enjoys customer service. • Wants to develop their skills. • Must be able to pass a Drug test, medical, MOJ – no convictions, police check. • Must have a up to date CV.
