About this job
Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly, maintaining quality and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation, including assembling ingredients, making salads, sandwiches, and simple dishes. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen, dining, and serving areas, ensuring floors, tables, and utensils are spotless. Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, cooking equipment, and utensils for smooth operations. Set up tables with proper utensils, napkins, and condiments, and clear them efficiently after use. Transfer, weigh, and check supplies to keep the kitchen and dining areas stocked. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally. Pack food and beverage trays for service and assist with takeaway orders. Work closely with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Job Requirements
1. Qualification/ Work experience: Candidate should have either of the below: - at least one year of work experience OR - NZQF Certificate or Diploma 2. Must be available for the split shift depending upon the workload. 3. Should be available to work on weekends. 4. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must have experience -Indian Restaurant FOH customer service
