Restaurant Supervisor
About this job
A busy restaurant and cafe requires an experienced restaurant supervisor. Duties will include:
- Working with the kitchen staff and managing the front so clients have a good experience - Work with the kitchen staff to ensure that the stocks/ingredients are well maintained - Responsible to make sure delivery/takeaway and catering orders are prepared as per client expectations and well on time - Accepting payments and preparing invoices - Keeping the restaurant clean and safe place to work - Helping with kitchen duties and washing up when the team needs you - Minimizing waste and updating the director as and when required - Making sure the restaurant is functioning well and taking up ad-hoc duties to keep the services running smoothly.
Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit and be able to clear drug/police checks - Must have a can-do attitude with a positive approach - Must have recent work experience in hospitality due to the nature of the role
- Days of work
- Split shift roster of: Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 2:30pm and 4pm to 9:30 pm (40 hours per week)
