We are looking for some 'can do' lifeguards to join our team at the local swimming pools on a permanent part time, full time and on a casual basis.

Full training will be provided for all positions to obtain first aid and lifeguard qualifications although preference will be given to applicants who already hold these qualifications or have prior experience.

As a lifeguard it will be your job to ensure the safety of our customers while providing a high level of customer service. Our ideal applicant will be a confident swimmer, has the ability to communicate effectively, make great health and safety decisions, keep the facility clean, and be confident to provide emergency response where required. Lifeguards have a varied role of rotating between reception, lifeguarding, pool tests, plant room, cleaning and taking aqua classes to make their role interesting.

1 x Permanent part-time (Matamata) Hours - 16.5 hours per week Monday and Thursday 3.30pm - 7pm Friday 5.30am - 8.30am Sunday 10am - 5pm

1 x Permanent full-time (Matamata) Hours 38.5 hours per week Monday 5.30am - 1.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5.30am - 2pm Sunday 9.30am - 5pm

2 x Casual: The casual roles will be based at either Matamata or Te Aroha but casual staff are expected to provide cover at all Facilities including Matamata, Te Aroha or Morrinsville.
