The Opportunity: Join a busy, award-winning bistro as a Restaurant Manager and lead an exceptional hospitality team in a critically acclaimed setting. In this full-time role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations alongside the Directors, ensuring a superior dining experience and contributing to the business's growth.
What You'll Be Doing: Manage daily operations, including staff rostering, inventory, supplier management, and budgeting. Lead and develop a high-performing front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service. Coordinate with the kitchen team for seamless service. Implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue and foot traffic. Handle customer care with professionalism and courtesy. Contribute to the strategic direction of the restaurant in line with the Directors' vision.
What You'll Need to Succeed: To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for food and hospitality, along with the following qualifications: -Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar restaurant management role. -Proven ability to lead and motivate front-of-house teams for exceptional dining experiences. -Strong financial acumen to manage budgets, inventory, and operating costs (experience with Loaded Reports & Posbiz is advantageous). -Comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, along with a current and valid Duty Manager Licence. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with guests and staff. -A commitment to high standards, being well-presented, organized, positive, and composed. -Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. -Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
