Restaurant Assistant Manager

Position is available for an Assistant Restaurant Manager at an Indian Restaurant based in Taupo. Responsibilities include: Assisting the Restaurant Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant and taking full responsibility for managing the restaurant in their absence Supervise and support restaurant staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and teamwork Manage staff roster and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours Assist in training and mentoring new team members Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally Assist in managing inventory, placing orders, and minimizing wastage Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Requirements: One year of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in an Indian restaurant or certification in the relevant field Strong leadership, customer handling and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently. Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
