Residential Drainlayer

A skilled and motivated Residential Drainlayer is sought to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in residential drainage systems and/or hold a plumbing qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of drainage projects while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Installation: Lay new sewer and stormwater lines, ensuring proper connections to public sewer and stormwater systems. • Repair: Diagnose and repair blocked, leaking, or collapsed drains to restore proper functionality. • Replacement: Replace aging, damaged, or ineffective drains to improve the efficiency and safety of drainage systems. • Surveying: Conduct surveys on existing drains for new systems or renovations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. • Measurement: Accurately measure and cut pipes to the required specifications for each project. • Fitting: Install necessary fittings and ensure all water joints are securely sealed. • Grading: Utilise laser levels to accurately calculate gradients and falls for optimal drainage flow.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • A minimum of 2 years of experience in residential drain laying or plumbing. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Technical proficiency in using laser levels for precise grading and fall calculations. • A solid understanding of safety standards and best practices in drainage installation and repair.
