Class 2 Logistics and Cleaning Specialist

A Wellington business is looking for a motivated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team immediately. This unique role offers a combination of driving and cleaning responsibilities, ensuring both the safe transportation of goods and the maintenance of clean and organised sites. The position will be driving a Rubbish Truck and a Box Body truck.

At the pickup sites there will be rubbish and abandoned furniture collection plus the cleaning element is cleaning around the bins and rubbish rooms of any mess.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 truck for deliveries and transportation. • Perform cleaning duties across various areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces. • Ensure the truck is maintained and cleaned regularly. • Assist with general housekeeping tasks and equipment upkeep. • Always follow all safety procedures and regulations. • Report any issues or maintenance needs to the Area Manager promptly.

• Valid Class 2 driver’s license. • Previous driving experience with Class 2 trucks. • Experience in cleaning or maintenance is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. • A proactive attitude and a team player mindset. • Good communication skills. • Minor convictions would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
