SkyCity’s Project Nikau has launched their Youth Academy that focuses on “Growing our Own”. It is their career pathways to employment programme, specifically targeting Maori and Pasifika rangatahi that identify as NEET’s (Not Engaged in Education Employment & Training). The focal point will be to train rangatahi through a 3 week comprehensive paid training programme and then move in a permanent role with Sky City.
A lot of the roles on offer are rostered shifts requiring late night finishes. You will need to have a transport plan in place to get home from Sky City when public transport is not running. Job Requirements
Be able to work rostered shifts and have transport to get to and from work after hours is essential A great attitude and high level of customer service Want a career in Hospitality Ideally be 18 to 24 years Have two forms of id with at least 1 photo id Reliability
