About this job
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and serve fast food items efficiently and to quality standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and correctly. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Monitor food stock levels, assist with stock rotation, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Take orders and ensure customer satisfaction with prompt and friendly service. Work collaboratively with the team to meet high-demand periods. Adhere to food safety and quality standards at all times.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in fast food preparation or equivalent. A qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or higher in a related field is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Availability to work weekends and late nights is a must. A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
