Duty Manager
About this job
As a Duty Manager in Waikanae, you will:
• Support the management team in organizing, managing, and leading overall store operations • Deliver an outstanding shopping experience to customers while ensuring the store complies with its legal obligations under the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 • Provide friendly and efficient customer service to maximize satisfaction • Utilize creative retail merchandising strategies to set up attractive store and promotional displays • Manage product range and stock levels, coordinating with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory at all times • Assist in marketing activities, store advertising, and promotional campaigns • Support rostering, cash handling, budgeting, and health and safety compliance • Maintain high store standards, including cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance protocols • Contribute to the store’s KPIs and sales targets • Open and close the store as required • Sell liquor and other store items while maintaining compliance with regulations
Job Requirements
• Relevant work experience is highly preferred • LCQ certification is highly desirable • Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends • Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods • Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask effectively • Hardworking, passionate, and a team player.
