Identifying the destinations of goods and selecting the most efficient delivery routes. • Positioning vehicles appropriately for loading and unloading operations. • Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices • Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles • Assisting in loading goods to ensure they are properly arranged for easy delivery and securely fastened to prevent damage. • Checking and verifying loading documentation. • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight • Coordinating and carrying out loading, unloading tasks, including obtaining delivery confirmation or certification. • Reporting any vehicle maintenance requirements. • Handling payments for deliveries and managing related account arrangements, if necessary.

Possession of a full NZ Class 2 driving licence • NZ Register Level 2 qualification or equivalent or one year of relevant experience • Ability to work weekends on regular basis for work purpose. • Be available for work between 7 am to 6 pm • Ability to travel outside Auckland area for work regularly including weekends, which may include being away overnight. This will be within New Zealand.
