We have an opportunity for a permanent fulltime staff member to work in the Meat and Spice Inputs Department of our Papanui-based manufacturing facility. 40 hours of work are provided each with, with hours scheduled between 5.30am – 3.30pm. Additional hours are often available, with overtime paid at time and a half. This role is very fast paced and physical. You will work in a small team to receive, scan, and prepare batches of meat for production, which will involve operating a forklift and industrial machinery. Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Job Requirements

Do you enjoy working with your hands? Do you have your full New Zealand driver’s license? Are you able to regularly lift up to 25kg’s? Are you curious about how things work, maybe you even enjoy taking things apart to see if you can put them back together again? Do you consider yourself to be fit and strong, and like the idea of a physical job, that uses your brain too? Do you have good communication skills, and are you willing to speak up when you have suggestions? Most importantly, are you reliable and organized?
