A reputable family-owned horticultural business based in Tapora is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include: Communicating with the Orchard Manager and General Manager on a daily basis to prioritise workflow Maintaining and servicing our fleet of cars, utes, tractors and heavy machinery Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment Promoting health and safety in all aspects of the job Maintaining an up-to-date parts inventory Maintaining vehicle/machinery service records

Job Requirements
Heavy diesel trade or NZQA Certification or equivalent experience Forklift certified Have own tools (bigger workshop-based tools provided) HT Class 4 would be an advantage
Understand and have a working knowledge of: All aspects of diesel machinery (including heavy machinery) Hydraulics Diagnostics Basic engineering
Must be reliable and have reliable transport as this is a remote location (please ensure you familiarise yourself with the location) Clean drivers licence Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a MOJ check

- Permanent full-time position - Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (45 hours per week)
