Support Worker (Fixed Term)
About this job
The role of a Support Worker involves providing assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living. This includes tasks like helping them with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific work environment, Support Workers may also assist with individual needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration. No prior experience in the health and disability sector is necessary, but a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker with a positive attitude is highly valued. Job Requirements
Full driver's licence, strong written and verbal skills, physically fit and hold a full NZ Driver's Licence. Because of the nature of this role, a Police/MoJ check is essential

- Mon/Tues 8.45am-5.30pm Wed/Thu 8.45am-3.00pm Week 1 Fri/Sat and Sun off Week 2 Fri and Sun off, Sat 9.00am-3.00pm (32 hours per week)
