Supervisor

1) managing, leading, and training a team of workers-ensuring the quality of work is to a high standard 2) allocate work to team members as required -make improvements to current procedures 3) proactive in making improvements to current procedures with the view to efficiency and improving work performance 4) planning, managing, and organizing workload . 5)maintain communication . 6) plan for and attend to workload in accordance with weather conditions. 7)oversee and ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and implemented. 8)resolving issues within your team 9)achieving targets as set out by growers and management. 10)manage and ensuring accurate record keeping & reporting on progress. 11)ensuring there is adequate team members to complete all tasks. 12) have input into hiring, training, evaluating performance of individual team members. 13) When necessary Supervisors may need to assist their team in their duties. 14) other tasks as set by the Director

- Must have CV on referral with relevant experience required (below) • 1-year relevant experience and/or a relevant NZ qualification. • Knowledge of the kiwifruit industry and its practices Have good leadership, management and planning skills. • Must a be prepared to work in all weather conditions. • Able to work weekends • Possess good communication skills. • Have accurate attention to detail for record keeping. • Be aware of health and safety rules. • Comfortable leading and support team members. • Applicants may be subjected to drug test and must be able to produce a New Zealand Police clearance if requested.
