Truck Driver - Class 5

Seeking Class 5 Truck Drivers for longhaul driving. Trucks are curtain siders, manual, 18 speeds and carting general freight outside of Auckland such as Hamilton, Whangarei, Wellington and other locations as per the customers requirements. Some Auckland based work as well. Duties will include to ensure that the truck is loaded appropriately and material is recorded correctly. Ensure all loads comply with NZTA requirements. Complete logbook accurately and in timely manner. Ensure Road User Charges RUC, Registration and COF are up to date. Maintain and regularly inspect company vehicle for safe operations. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Drivers need to drive the trucks as per the rules and regulation to the designed destination. The hourly rate is dependent on experience. The hours ranges from 30+ hours.
