Fast Food Cook

An Otorohanga based employer is looking for 2 fast food cooks, you will be required to complete the following tasks: • Prepare kebab skewers, sauces, and a variety of fresh ingredients such as meats, vegetables, and spices to create delicious kebabs • Grill kebabs to perfection by monitoring grill temperatures and cooking times, ensuring the kebabs meet the store's quality standards • Contribute to meeting daily sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure store success. • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients such as meats, bread, and condiments, and notify the Store Manager when additional supplies are needed • Clean and sanitise workstations before preparing kebabs, ensuring that all cooking equipment, utensils, and surfaces are properly sterilised • Assemble and package kebabs appropriately for dine-in or takeaway orders, ensuring all packaging is neat and secure • Manage order slips and ensure the timely preparation of customer orders, maintaining accuracy and speed • Discard expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift to ensure quality standards are met

You will need to have 6 months minimum experience working in a kitchen, be able to work rotated rostered shifts varying in hours from 9.30am – 10pm with weekend work required.
