Head Chef

A popular garden bar and dining venue is seeking a Head Chef to take their menu to the next level. We are looking for someone to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste, and implement them to the rest of the team. You will be in charge of hiring your team, running the kitchen and setting standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen, leading a team of professionals, and contributing to menu development. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Management to plan and execute menus Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control Assist in stock management and ordering of supplies Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Contribute to the development of new menu items and seasonal dishes Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen Culinary degree or equivalent experience Strong leadership and communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
- Days of work
- Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 9pm. Hours may vary. (45 hours per week)
