Oversee daily kiwifruit orchard work to ensure efficient and effective vine maintenance, fruit picking and harvesting activities. Co-ordinate the activities of the crew, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Monitor crop health and growth, implementing best practices for pest control, fertilization, irrigation, and pruning. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including crop yields, labor hours, and resource usage. Assist in the procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for orchard operations. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise and effectively. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. Job Requirements

At least NCEA level1 . Any Hort or Agriculture qualification is a big bonus. Work experience in a similar role is highly preferred, however, not mandatory as on-the-job training will be offered. -This is a job that requires the successful candidate to be available between Monday and and Sunday morning, 05:00 AM to 07:00 PM -Rotating roster -Shift work -Weekend availability
