Dairy Farm Assistant - Taupo/South Waikato

We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team and help maintain the smooth operation of our farm. This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for the dairy industry. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all aspects of the milking process, including plant hygiene and somatic cell count, to ensure grade-free standards. • Assist with feed planning and management. • Implement animal health programs to maintain herd wellness. • Support calving and the calf-rearing program to minimize losses and ensure high-quality replacements for the herd. • Maintain accurate herd records. • Assist in managing the repairs and maintenance schedule for plant, machinery, and infrastructure. • Ensure adherence to company policies and maintain accurate records.

What We’re Looking For: • A candidate with a strong work ethic and the right attitude. • Previous work references (not necessarily in the farming industry) must be provided.
