OTAGO/DUNEDIN: Our employer in Dunedin is looking for a Trainee Baker, to join the team, in their bakery. Duties include but are not limited to: • Helping the existing bakers which would including learning to measure products learning which products go into making bread and pies. • Put bread and pies in the ovens take out when cooked under supervision. The more experience that is gained then more responsibility will be given to be making the bread and pies. • On the job training that may result in an apprenticeship. • Cleaning the machinery each day ready for the next day’s production. • At times may be required to deliver products.
Days and hours: • 8:00am or 9am starts Sunday to Thursday – Friday and Saturday off. • 40 hours per week.
Pay Rate: $23.50 per hour.
No experience is required, but all applicants must meet the below prerequisites to be considered for this role, please note if you don’t meet any of these you won’t be considered for this role.
This role is a great opportunity to get into an apprenticeship into the bakery field.

Job Requirements
You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role:
• You must be willing to work and turn up when required. • You must be able to pass a police check, and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Hold New Zealand citizenship or have New Zealand Permanent Residency. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team environment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Be reliable and flexible. • You must be willing to work and turn up when required.
