Experienced Cafe Worker

Location: Parklands

Cafe looking for Senior Front of house staff member who has experience or relevant study in the Hospitality industry. Small team within a family owned business, seeking a reliable, motivated person who can complete the various day-today duties within the cafe and take on responsibility including managing cafe in the absence of the managers.

Ideal candidate has completed or is working towards hospitality qualifications. Management qualifications preferred. Barista certificate and experience making coffee is required. LCQ is ideal as they are opening in the evenings in 2025 for dinner service.

Duties include: - Barista: Making and serving quality coffees - Preparing and serving food and beverages for consumption on the premises - Taking customers' food and beverage orders - Operating cash registers, accepting payments and preparing sales invoices - Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished - Cleaning and preparing tables for use - Washing dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils - Cleaning cafe equipment such as coffee grinders, espresso machines and ice makers - Participating in stock takes and assisting in putting away new stock providing backup to other cafe employees

- Relevant Customer Service/Hospitality training and Hospitality experience required, however, training will be provided to the successful applicant. - Barista experience - Current LCQ is ideal - Must be reliable, of good character, punctual and can self-manage. - Must have a clean criminal history and be able to pass drug tests. - Will be required to work on the weekends, evenings & early on Saturdays and Sundays. (Over rostered shifts)
