As a Kaihere Hapori, you will work alongside community leaders to create transformative sports club environments that prioritise and support the holistic wellbeing of whanau. Based in our Tauranga office, this role will potentially serve communities across the Waiariki rohe (Across the Bay of Plenty).

Job Requirements
Knowledgeable in tikanga and Maori philosophies. Passionate about sport and its potential to enhance whanau wellbeing. A natural leader who can mobilise whanau and communities. Well-connected within their local networks, particularly in hauora, sports and with hapu and iwi. Skilled in developing strategies and problem solving. Experienced in project management and/or event coordination. A strong team player who can work independently. A proficient administrator with exceptional report writing. A confident communicator and facilitator with an ability to work with large groups. The ability to clearly articulate concepts of wellbeing and outcomes. An understanding of the financial needs of a club and experience in applying for grants.
