Project Manager

The purpose of this role is to apply professional principles, practices and techniques to lead project delivery teams, control project budgets and schedules, with the resulting outcomes of client satisfaction, achievement of business and client KPI’s, and delivery of sales and gross margin targets.

The Project Manager is also required to development and maintains customer relationships and key sub-contractors, supplier and vendor relationships to help support the delivery and ongoing sales pipeline growth of the Projects and Fuels NZ business.

To be successful in this role you will need:

At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in a related industry. Strong knowledge of the fuels industry (preferred, but not essential). Demonstrated expertise in producing high-quality written materials, including the preparation and submission of quotes, pricing estimates, and detailed customer reports. Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of project management, with intermediate-level experience preferred. Experience managing budgets up to $2M per year. Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong written communication skills, able to create clear, concise, and audience-appropriate project documentation, reports, and briefing papers. Proactive, independent, and skilled at exercising good judgment in decision-making.
