Forklift / Machine operators

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for two key roles in our limestone processing and transportation operations. The positions involve working with heavy machinery to handle limestone, ensuring efficient and safe loading, bagging, and transport of the material.

Role 1: Forklift Operator / Bagging Specialist

Responsibilities: - Operate forklifts to load pallets full of limestone bags onto trucks for delivery and sale. - Handle limestone bags from conveyors and load them onto pallets for storage or shipment. - Ensure proper stacking and securing of pallets to prevent damage during transport. - Maintain a clean and organized work area around the loading zone. - Adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines while using forklifts and other equipment. - Perform regular equipment checks to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Role 2: Quarry Loader / Machine operator

Responsibilities: - Operate tractors, diggers, and trucks to transport limestone from the quarry to the processing area. - Load limestone onto conveyors that sift and break it down to produce sand. - Ensure that the limestone is properly transferred and processed through the machinery. - Work closely with the bagging team to ensure a continuous flow of material for packaging. - Monitor equipment and machinery for any issues, reporting maintenance needs as necessary. - Follow all safety procedures while operating heavy machinery and handling materials.

- Forklift certification required for role 1. - Must have WTR for role 2. - Pass a pre employment drug test. - Hold a restricted license with own reliable transport. - Experience operating forklifts, tractors, diggers, or similar heavy machinery preferred. - Ability to work in a physically demanding environment lifting up to 25kgs. - Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machinery operation. - Excellent teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members. - Ability to work in various weather conditions, especially in outdoor quarry environments. - Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and remain alert during long shifts.
