Class 5 Truck Driver-Swinglift

We are looking for committed and hardworking Class 5 Truck Drivers to cover vacant positions. We have a functional and close-nit team that offers staff training and support and we have a strong commitment to Health and Safety. Our company is based in Auckland; however, this role necessitates travel throughout Auckland, Waikato, and the Bay of Plenty regions.

Duties and responsibilities: • Safely drive a Class 5 truck to pick up & drop off containers. • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle and equipment used for the service. • Complete all required documentation. • Ensure the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition and carrying out minor maintenance tasks, if required. • Attend to the usual reporting procedures associated with driving. • Attend to the daily checking of vehicle (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety conditions, and equipment security, road user charge license, hub odometer readings, etc.) and keeping the employer informed of the need for road user charges and maintenance required. • Attend to other duties as the employer may reasonably require. • Maintain a professional road manner. • Maintain a proactive approach to your Health and Safety and those around you.
