A Non-profit organisation providing support for migrants and refugees is seeking a part-time Youth Mentor to provide guidance, support, and mentorship to young men from diverse backgrounds. If you have experience working with youth, a genuine desire to uplift others, and excellent interpersonal skills, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young men, fostering their personal growth and resilience. - Provide mentorship and guidance to help young men navigate challenges and opportunities. - Attend meetings with other stakeholders as a support person for young men. - Facilitate group activities and one-on-one mentoring sessions. - Promote positive values, cultural understanding, and healthy life choices.

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For - A strong commitment to youth development and empowerment. - Previous experience mentoring or working with young people (preferred but not essential). - Excellent communication and active listening skills. - Understanding of or willingness to learn about the unique challenges faced by resettled youth and their families. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A plus if you can speak another language (but not a necessity). - Must be able to pass pre employment checks, MOJ and drug test.
