Class 2 Driver

Night Shift Class 2 Truck Driver role for Milk run: Drive vehicle on designated run-in accordance with regulations and company procedures in a timely manner delivering to customers within one hour of the designated delivery time each day *Load and unload vehicle with the required load for that day *Record all items loaded as per the load sheet in the handheld computer *Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight *Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips *Submit pre-trip Inspections and if required Vehicle Defect reports on vehicle and trialing equipment prior to commencing shift *Ensure that all load documentation required to move with freight is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies freight when delivered *Maintain records required for compliance with applicable regulations

Must be able to drive truck with manual gearbox (not automatic) * Clean class 2 driver’s licence * Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test * Able to pass Ministry of Justice and Aviation Security clearance check * Honest and reliable * Team player * Able to cope with night shift * High level of energy and enthusiasm * Positive attitude with great customer service skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines * Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting *Strategic thinking *Positive approach to change *Good written and verbal communication * At least 3 Years Class 2 (or higher) driving experience required * Must be flexible to work public holidays and cover weekend shifts when other team members are away sick or on leave.
