Delivery Driver

Making timely deliveries to businesses. Able to travel to different routes as allocated. Loading and unloading of goods. Follow instructions provided by the management. Follow safety requirements when loading or unloading goods/ vehicles. Heavy lifting objects up to 50 lbs. The job applicant should have ability to solve basic problems that may arise on the job such as traffic or route change. Conduct yourself in a professional manner. Daily reporting to the management regarding any delivery issues. Able to travel throughout New Plymouth and Manawatu region.

Must have a current heavy truck licence (minimum class 2). Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is required. At least 1 year industry relevant experience is required. You must be available to start early at 1:00 am and finish time between 10:00 am- 11:00 am. Additional hours (max 40 hrs) may be provided depending on work. We operate 7 days a week. You must be available on weekends and able to work on roster basis. Must have good time management. An MOJ check will be done - no convictions of serious nature, theft, or driving will be considered. Minor offenses may be considered on a case by case basis.
