Kitchenhand

In this busy Plimmerton kitchen, you will: - Assist in food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients under the guidance of chefs or kitchen supervisors - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen by washing, sanitising, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans - Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment - Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and labelling of products - Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service - Support chefs and kitchen staff during peak service periods by restocking ingredients, monitoring food levels, and assisting in plating and presentation - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free kitchen environment - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient workflow
