Site Traffic Management Supervisor with Class 2 licence

Pukekohe based employer requires Site traffic management supervisor with Class 2 licence. Primary responsibilities are: • Supervise traffic management operations, including the setup and removal of traffic management equipment and control devices. • Implement and enforce safety regulations to protect drivers, pedestrians, and construction teams. • Drive traffic management vehicles and ensure they are maintained in good condition. • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other stakeholders for smooth traffic flow. • Communicate effectively and diplomatically with road users, maintaining a positive and approachable demeanour.
Ideal candidate must have the willingness to learn and gain the necessary qualifications, the ability to work well in a team, the commitment to safety and adherence to traffic management guidelines and the ability to work weekends, late nights, public holidays. Flexibility is crucial for this role.
Candidate needs to be flexible as the work can be all over North Island with accommodation provided.
Job Requirements
Must hold Full class 1 DL and Class 2 or an overseas equivalent. Must pass MOJ check and pre-employment drug test. Must have previous work references. Must have their own transport. Must hold valid STMS qualifications & current STMS ticket.
