This role plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of our carriage rail services and enhancing the overall customer experience. As a Train Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the operation of our rail services, issuing tickets, managing revenue and Snapper, and handling customer concerns with professionalism and care. You'll also be a key player in promoting services and collaborating with bus replacement providers during service disruptions. Safety is paramount, so we seek individuals who are proactive and vigilant in addressing safety issues, and who can occasionally perform hand operations of motor points when required. Job Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should bring a proven history of delivering high levels of customer service, effective interpersonal and verbal communication, maintaining composure and taking decisive action in high-pressure situations. You should have solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, advanced conflict resolution skills, and the ability to pass a physical competency test. We ask applicants to have flexibility to work various shifts as well as very early mornings. This will require a full licence due to start times of the role.
