About this job
• Prepare and cook food items such as fish, hotdogs, and chips following established recipes and techniques. • Support in preparing ingredients by washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing for meal preparation. • Track inventory levels and manage supply orders as needed to ensure the kitchen is fully stocked. • Sterilize cooking utensils and equipment before and after use to ensure cleanliness. • Adjust kitchen equipment settings, including fryers, grills, and ovens, to the correct temperatures. • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils regularly to maintain a hygienic environment. • Dispose of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift to maintain freshness. • Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure customer health and satisfaction. • Maintain cleanliness of all utensils and kitchen equipment consistently. • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
• Available to work on weekends and late evenings • Relevant work experience will be preferred • Should also be comfortable to work different shifts from Monday to Sunday • Comfortable working on rostered shifts • Team worker • Good with managing time. • Physically fit to stand for a longer duration • Hardworking and passionate individual • Attention to detail
