Join our Christchurch team as a Pavement Marker! As a Pavement Marker, you won’t just be painting lines; you’ll be enhancing the way our community navigates. From busy intersections to serene bike paths, your artistry will contribute to safer journeys for everyone.

You will provide operational delivery of road marking activities for the effective completion of quality maintenance remarking and new works contracts. The role will involve the use of an A and B type marking machines.

You will also -

Collaborate with a skilled team to execute projects efficiently and effectively. Ensure all plant under your control is presented, maintained and operated in a professional, safe, efficient manner and complies with all safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental requirements. Advise and assist with programming of plant repairs and maintenance. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for you and your colleagues.

Job Requirements

As a Pavement Marker, you will have a ‘can do’ attitude and a proactive outlook combined with an ability to work within a small team will see you right in this role.

You’ll also have: MUST HAVE A Full Class 2 Drivers License Excellent verbal and written communication skills and preferably Information Technology skills as well. Self-motivated, energetic, proactive and results-orientated with an ability to problem solve, plan, listen and make decisions. Must be able to work under pressure, recognise and prioritise allocation of resources as work and clients require.

DESIRABLE Experience in civil construction Level 1 STMS/CAT AB and Formal NZQA Roadmarking Operational Certification would be highly desirable
