Alternative Education Tutor and Administrator

A private education centre is looking for Alternative Education Tutors and Administrator to join their team in Papatoetoe or Panmure.

Alternative Education Tutors: Ideal candidates preferably with a teaching qualification but not essential. You must be able to work in a challenging environment. This role will require you to help small group of 13-15 years old with their Correspondence School work and prepare daily lessons. This is a fixed term contract commencing on 27 January 2025 and finishing on 4 December 2025. It might be renewed subject to programme availability. To be successful in this role, you must have - a passion to help young people to achieve academic results and improve their lives. - experience in Alternative Education/Youth Coaching - must have experience in working with youth, mature mind - good communication skills and can work well with others - be a good motivator and role model - good report writing and administration skills - flexibility and good time management skills Full Class 1 Licence is essential as you will be picking and dropping off students from their home to the site.

Administrator: This position requires a capable individual with good computer and communication skills, are a good team player and an effective motivator then this job is for you. Work experience in similar roles is an advantage but not essential. Must be able to speak Chinese. This is a 1-year fixed term contract and might be renewed subject to work availability.
