A busy orchard in Hope (5 - 10 minutes from Richmond) is looking for pickers for the 2025 fruit harvest. Workers will carry out key tasks associated with the picking of an apple crop, including correct fruit handling, using a 2.4m ladder safely, and working safely on a motorised harvest platform.

Work will commence from February 15 and run through the entire harvest season, approximately ten weeks depending on conditions.

For the right people, there is an opportunity for ongoing work from June through September doing packing, pruning, or planting.

Job Requirements

Candidates must have the required fitness to perform this physical job, reliable transport to get to and from work, and the ability to work with the team and follow instructions regarding fruit selection. Must not have colour blindness (red/green)

Minor criminal convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Days of work
Monday-Friday, Saturday. 07:30-16:30 (40 hours per week)
