Join a supportive family-run farm in Hikurangi, where you will be provided full training and a nurturing environment to grow and learn about the dairy farming industry.

Duties include but are not limited to; • Milking cows using a 16-aside herringbone feed system, ensuring the health and well-being of the herd • Assisting with general farm tasks such as loading trailers, feeding livestock and checking troughs • Supporting herd management for 200-300 mixed-breed cows • Managing high-input operations and ensuring cows have access to outside feed

1. Genuine interest in dairy farming and animal care. 2. Previous experience in dairy farming or farm-related work would be an advantage. 3. A full Class 1 driver licence with a reliable transport is a must as shifts start at 4:30am and no accommodation is provided on the farm. 4. Comfortable working around children and within a small family unit 5. Strong work ethic, reliable, hardworking with a can-do attitude 6. Physically fit and ready to take on tasks with a positive approach 7. Drug-free and employer is open to considering previous convictions on a case-by-case basis.
