Social Worker Extraordinaire - Family/Whanau Worker

Are you warm and welcoming Able to relate to people from all walks of life. We re looking for a Social Worker to join our team or able to be registered as one to work in a team environment with families. The Motueka Family Service Centre is the home of a range of services set up to provide support to parents and whanau in the Motueka and wider community. The people using the Centre are in need of support, at times intensive support, especially those on a low income who find there is significant challenge in their lives. So they need calm, kind energy when they cross our threshold looking for assistance.

Able to triage, assess and build a realistic family plan alongside whanau using matauranga Maori informed assessments and hauora models. Team player that can deal with a busy daily schedule and work within a busy workplace. An ethical, conscientious practitioner, that is positively engaged on their learning journey of delivering social work in the Aotearoa context.
