Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Teacher (or a willingness to obtain NZ teaching credentials) who has experience working within New Zealand’s Education and Unit Standard frameworks, as well as expertise in teaching literacy and numeracy at a high school level. Reporting to the lead Teacher, you will design and facilitate interactive lessons, guiding students through the Native Tech's Tauwhiriwhiri programme to help students gain credits and develop essential skills for the digital world. Job Requirements

-A teaching qualification or eligibility for NZ teaching credentials is required. -Experience with New Zealand’s teaching and Unit Standard/Skill Standard frameworks. -A background in digital or creative technology education is preferred. -Strong communication and organisational skills. -A collaborative, student-centred approach to teaching, with a passion for working with rangatahi. -Familiarity with neurodiverse and LGBTQI+ communities is an advantage. -Full drivers licence required.
